This is wonderful! So many teas let chocolate or anise overpower the other flavors, but this is perfectly balanced and so beautifully smooth. It's both earthy and sweet, and is warm and comforting without feeling too heavy or cloying. It makes me want to wander through a field of grain and sing hymns to Persephone.
Tastes like light cocoa with a slight licorice finish, a great caffeine free herbal for an evening by the fire.
This has a great earthy grain note with that amazing cocoa taste. And anise I love with cocoa it plays off each other it is very nice after dinner
I really wanted to like this, tried it hot and cold but either temperature it was hard to drink after a couple of sips. The barley dominated the flavor profile & was very strange tasting, not at all palatable. I read the reviews & was truly excited about trying this blend. Everyone's tastes buds are different so it must be me as this blend has excellent reviews. But for me, I won't reorder this blend. Sorry!

Such a full, rich taste in a caffeine-free tea. I add a small bit of maple syrup and it’s perfection.
