Upon opening the package, I was hit with the strong smell of a juicy, fruity, bubblegum (plus a whiff of fresh cut grass), which took me back to the very happy summers of my childhood. And the brewed tea did not disappoint… light and lovely, needing no sweetener.
I love this green tea as well as the Combray green tea. I used to never like green tea. I found they lacked any significant taste. I find August green teas to be flavorful and refreshing.
Unique, interesting, but a little strong on the pine flavor for me. Got is the test kit, worth a try.

Sunshine in a cup
I have tried many of the August teas, and this is one of my favorites, by far. It is delicious hot, but is a knock out as an iced tea. Even my husband, who is not a big iced tea fan, loves this. It is light and refreshing, with a touch of sweetness so not sugar is needed. I buy bags of this all summer long.
