I didn't get any bitterness off this tea. However, I'm not disappointed in it. If you're looking for a bit of bitter, you could be in for a let down. Based off the ingredients, I do wish I could taste something in addition to orange. I like licorice and you'd think that would come through a bit. It did not. Overall, it's a nice tea. Not super special. Not disappointing either.
I liked the aroma more than the flavor. I’m on the fence about the taste of rooibus tea. But I’m going to keep trying it.
