Late mornings in Borough Market invite you to take in London’s unique culinary delights. The market offers a multitude of pleasures: rich coffee amidst the scents of gloriously strong tea, spices, and baked breads. Dirty chai was a happy accident in a London cafe. A barista accidentally added espresso to a spiced chai latte. The result was pure magic.
Dirty Chai is a sensory experience like no other. The first sip has thick caramel flavor that mingles with earthy mate and barley. Next, you taste chocolatey coffee and a hint of ginger in the finish. Cardamom and cinnamon brighten this exquisite calico of aromas and flavors.

About the Fragrance
August worked with Heretic to create a tea inspired by a fragrance, and a fragrance inspired by a tea. The Dirty Chai Eau de Parfum draws its olfactive inspiration from our Dirty Chai tea. A special extraction of black tea leaves gives this gender-neutral fragrance soft tobacco and hay notes that are nuanced with cardamom, sweet clove and warming ginger. Vanilla, cashmere musk and traces of coffee absolute create the addictive velvety foundation for this gourmand masterpiece. This blend is calming, wonderfully reassuring, and works to promote sensuality.
Tea Ingredients
assam black tea, roasted brazilian mate, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom seed, cardamom pods, malted barley, coffee beans, ground coffee, vanilla pieces, natural flavors of coffee, cinnamon and ginger

Ingredients for 2 servings
• 4 tablespoons dirty chai
• 1.5 cups milk
• 1.5 cups water
• 2 tablespoons sugar
Preparation
1. Combine tea leaves and boiling water in a sauce pot
2. Simmer covered for 10 minutes
3. Add 2 tablespoons sugar
4. Warm milk
5. Add milk to tea mixture and remove from heat
6. Infuse for 10 more minutes
7. Strain and enjoy

I am particular about my tea. I have tried so many brands and the moment I like something it gets taken off the market. So, I read rave reviews of August Tea and tried most of them. They are fabulous but I particularly love the Dirty Chai. I am not a coffee lover but this tea with a hint of coffee is the best I have ever had.
Love it! Definitely a go to tea! Love that I got the tea bag option.
I had high hopes for this tea. The first time I made it, I followed the directions to a T, and my dirty chai latte was at best. Tried it one more time, again following directions, in case I missed something the first time, and it was still weak. I will try again, not following the directions and will update my review if I can get a stronger cup.came
