Finally, the vanilla flavor returns as an intense note of freshly scraped vanilla bean. This delicate smoky vanilla flavor lingers. I got this to see if it could replace another Black Vanilla tea I get from France, and unfortunately, it wasn't for me. It was just too smoky, couldn't really capture the vanilla, and was also slightly more tannic than the tea I was trying to replace. I don't really enjoy the aroma, either, so it just won't be something I find myself drinking even if it won't replace the French tea.
