A touch of smoked black tea grounds this blend in a wild garden. This tea has a rich malty flavor. Its gently slatey mouthfeel calls to mind a quiet ramble along a stone garden path in the Southern French countryside. In the distance, there’s a faint scent of a fire burning for the evening grill. A splash of milk sweetens the floral notes. It has glorious floral flavor when iced.

This is a lovely blend if you like smoky lapsang souchong. The oolong is pretty delicate and the smoke doesn't overwhelm, but it's definitely present. The lavender makes it lean a little more towards an herbal flavor, but not too much. It's a really nice afternoon tea, I'll have to try it iced in the summer.
I think this one could have used a longer steep than I gave it. The flavors were mild and the lavender was hard to detect.
The lavender things I've had before don't really have much going for them, but I appreciate that I could taste and smell it in this one!
