For years I've been contemplating how to give lavender that August magic. It took time and imagination because lavender is one of those potent flowers that can overwhelm other flavors.
I selected a full-bodied oolong tea base and a touch of smoked lapsang souchong black tea to evoke a garden bed with just a pop of lavender. This extraordinary oolong blend drinks like a black tea with light floral top notes and just a hint of smoke. Earl Grey fans will appreciate this flavor.

It's an excellent new addition to my stash of teas. My wife loves the smell of this one in the morning, it reminds her of our lavender garden in June.
This is a really nice lavender tea! Lavender flavored tea is so often overly sweet or floral, but the blend with the smoky black tea and oolong is perfect. It brings out the herby flavor of the lavender, I feel like there's notes of sage as well. The smokiness is definitely present, but the lavender balances it out. It makes me think of a walk through the misty countryside on a quiet morning. It's also really nice with some honey.
Love this lavender tea. It’s my afternoon tea and smells so good. I usually like black tea more than oolong, but this one has such a nice smell and taste; glad I bought! Kudos to August Uncommon for giving us so many great teas!
Not my favorite by august…. But it was good. A little mellow and light
This is just a perfect tea. The aroma and taste of lavender and vanilla is well balanced. Good on its own or a time saver as the base for a good London Fog.
