I love all of August's teas, but the almond flavor in this one was just too much for me, and really overpowered all the other flavors and gave it a bit of a sickly sweet, cough syrup taste. I've tried it both hot and iced and haven't really enjoyed either. I can tell it's a very high-quality and well-made tea, but the flavor just wasn't for me. I've been surprised at the fact that this and Cult of Demeter have been my least favorites so far, since I love anise and and almond flavors normally (amaretto is one of my favorite liquors) but in a tea the flavors seem to be too overwhelming.
