Fasten your seatbelts. This powerful black tea makes for a intense morning. It’s a strong, tannic black tea with roasted almond flavor and sweet brittle. Notes of caramel and almond balance the blend of Assam and smoked lapsang souchong black teas. This unique blend is reminiscent of Italian croccante almond brittle. Each sip has a lingering burnt toffee flavor. Adding milk increases the malty sweetness and mellows the smoke to create a dangerously delicious cup.

The almond brittle flavor is not strong. I noticed a subtle sweetness, but less than Low Country. It's a nice tea, but I still prefer Low Country
