I was hesitant about this one based on the smoky description but it ended up being a favorite. You don’t really taste smoke, it adds a depth of flavor that is unexpected and delicious.

When I see orange, I think a spiky bright OJ which makes the name Mood Indigo a bit confusing, but this tea is aptly named. The flavor is a whole mood, and that mood is like hanging out in an offbeat underground party. First, it is robust, a little bit smoky but rich and smooth. The orange does give it a bit of perkiness but then the blackberry rolls in and it becomes darker, more mysterious. This not a quick power up tea, this is a sipping tea and I love it. Another review suggested a splash of milk or cream and I agree. I also dribble in some honey, but you don't need a lot with all the fruit flavors. Dance with this one if you dare.
