Hot Brewing 10 oz

Heat 212°f/100°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 2 teaspoons
Pour 10oz/300ml hot water
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Repeat Reinfuse 1-2 times

Iced Brewing 10 oz

Heat 212°f/100°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 2 teaspoons
Pour ~3oz hot water to barely cover tea leaves
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Dilute with 7oz cold water
Serve Over ice

Pro tip: If you want more concentrated flavor, try doubling the tea leaves in this recipe.

The Most Delicious Tea
I have tried several August Uncommon Teas in an effort to find one that I love as much as Painted Desert. Nothing comes close. I can drink buckets of it with or without milk. Yes, the chili is pronounced, but also blends so well with the chocolate and other flavors that nothing becomes tiresome.

This is the one
I first tasted this tea in a local tea house several years ago and never forgot it. There are only a few other companies that offer anything like this and they are just not the same. None of the others have the true chili bite that clears my sinuses, makes my tongue tingle, and, simply, is the experience of being home in New Mexico. Please never, ever stop making this.

Like Mexican Hot Chocolate
This is a great harm-reduction with sugar option. Add sweet cream and it's like having a really low-calorie mexican hot chocolate. Super tasty. I paired mine with a piece of dark chocolate and a dried orange slice.

My favorite!
Love this tea best. Just enough heat from the chile to go with the chocolate. It’s best to shake the bag every time you get into it or too much chile goes to the bottom & your cuppa zingy tea will definitely wake you up pronto!
