Tastes Like: lavender, warm hay, peat
Feels Like: afternoon in provence
Welcome to the perfumed roads of Provence. This is an earthy lavender black tea with a whisper of smoke. The floral oolong base harmonizes beautifully with lavender blossom. A touch of smoked black tea grounds this blend in a wild garden. This tea has a rich malty flavor. Its gently slatey mouthfeel calls to mind a quiet ramble along a stone garden path in the Southern French countryside. In the distance, there’s a faint scent of a fire burning for the evening grill. A splash of milk sweetens the floral notes. It has glorious floral flavor when iced.
A tea for lovers of lavender and wild gardens.

For years I've been contemplating how to give lavender that August magic. It took time and imagination because lavender is one of those potent flowers that can overwhelm other flavors.
I selected a full-bodied oolong tea base and a touch of smoked lapsang souchong black tea to evoke a garden bed with just a pop of lavender. This extraordinary oolong blend drinks like a black tea with light floral top notes and just a hint of smoke. Earl Grey fans will appreciate this flavor.
As always, I enjoy the challenge of creating a tea that will surprise and delight your senses. So, even if you shy away from oolong teas or lavender blends, or anything remotely "smoky," I hope you give this a try.
Full permission (and encouragement) to explore the variations of flavor this gorgeous blend has to offer. Try a splash of your favorite milk. Give it a kiss of honey. It's also phenomenal iced.
I can't wait to hear what you think of this blend.
