Decaf Low Country has the full flavor of the original Low Country, but almost no caffeine so you can enjoy any time of day or night. It is decaffeinated using the nontoxic CO2 decaffeination process. This tea has the ostentatious warmth of a Southern drawl. It’s got robust body and character to match. In the first sip, the chewiness of burnt sugar mingles with the dark, rich flavor of buttery buckwheat hotcakes and finally, a latent chicory note. A drop of milk adds a whisper of bourbon. This is a fantastic morning tea to rival an English breakfast. Its potent charm ambles all the livelong day.

We've had many requests for more decaf teas and we are so pleased to bring you our very first decaf August blend, Decaf Low Country. Now you can enjoy a cup or pot of your favorite tea around the clock. No jitters, no caffeine crash. It's rich, it's bold, and it's 90% caffeine free. This tea has only 5.5mg of caffeine per serving when brewed as directed.

🔥 Brewing Directions

Hot Brewing 10 oz

Heat 212°f/100°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 2 teaspoons
Pour 10oz/300ml hot water
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Repeat Reinfuse 1-2 times

Iced Brewing 10 oz

Heat 212°f/100°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 2 teaspoons
Pour ~3oz hot water to barely cover tea leaves
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Dilute with 7oz cold water
Serve Over ice

The best!
I love this tea. It has just the right amount of sweetness without a strong bourbon flavor, and there is a richness to it that gives it a hearty flavor and aroma. It is a comforting tea, just right for a cozy night on the couch with a good book.

Low Country
Without question, my hands-down favorite August Uncommon tea. As caffeine doesn’t bother me, I generally drink it in the evening while watching tv. My first recommendation to anyone wanting to try A-U teas for the first time.
