The smell is absolutely mouth watering: caramel and rich. There is a slight coffee taste but it has a more bourbon/whiskey feel on the tongue for minutes after your done drinking which I love. The caramelly sugar adds a very subtle sweetness which, to be honest, was needed. It steeps even better on the second and third steeping.
