Soft, sugar-laden butter glides across the tongue to meet tiny aromatic vanilla seeds apparent in the bottom of the cup. Intense vanilla is balanced by the earthy depth of cardamom and green tea. This tea is a modern take on Proust's tea-soaked Madeleine.

I dont know if I have been preparing it wrong all these years or if I just have had bad brands before this but never liked green tea all that much. When the free sampler came, I figured on giving it to my dad or something as he drinks green tea daily. On a whim, I decided to trt it just based on the experience I have had with August's other amazing teas. I was actually shocked that a rea I usually avoid was quite good. I enjoyed the hints of vanilla and cardamom. I have to admit I would drink this again amd will probably buy some now that I am figuring out the water temperature alittle better.

This Green Tea is balanced so well with the vanilla and cardamom spice that it aids in removing the bitter accent green teas usually carry or if one accidentally over steeps the tea! Definitely a new favourite for getting in my green tea benefits!
