The intoxicating scent of this tea conjures velvety cake on an afternoon in the countryside. Soft, sugar-laden butter glides across the tongue to meet tiny aromatic vanilla seeds apparent in the bottom of the cup. Intense vanilla is balanced by the earthy depth of cardamom and green tea. This tea is a modern take on Proust's tea-soaked Madeleine.

August Uncommon is truly "uncommon." The Proust shout-out makes for a brilliant homage to the famous madeleine-dipped-in-linden-tisane that inspired this delicious tea. As a Francophile I appreciate the brilliant references within August's collection.
The flavor combination in this blend makes it my go to Green Tea.... It became my favorite the first time I tried it.
This tea gas a nice smooth flavor. I found it to be soothing and a great taste. Also a nice aroma
I dont know if I have been preparing it wrong all these years or if I just have had bad brands before this but never liked green tea all that much. When the free sampler came, I figured on giving it to my dad or something as he drinks green tea daily. On a whim, I decided to trt it just based on the experience I have had with August's other amazing teas. I was actually shocked that a rea I usually avoid was quite good. I enjoyed the hints of vanilla and cardamom. I have to admit I would drink this again amd will probably buy some now that I am figuring out the water temperature alittle better.
I love this tea! Love the vanilla flavor and its such a yummy tea. Will be repurchasing soon!
