An Afternoon Tea

We recently put on an Afternoon Tea at my church. I was in charge of the tea. I chose three different teas and made a big pot of each for each of our three tables (about 20 people total). One of the teas was The Library. It got great reviews! Though they kept calling it "the buttered popcorn tea", since I had put your description on the labels on the tables. The other two teas I served were Black Metallic and an Orange Pekoe I get from England. I think Black Metallic was the slight overall favorite, but it came out nearly even for the three very different teas.

Like a pleasant morning with a favorite book

This tea is so simple yet so intriguing. It's full-bodied yet astringent, savory yet delightful with a bit of honey, and incredibly satisfying. The malty flavor is very prominent, and it does give it a good kick of that bread flavor that's described. It's very smooth and rich without being very sweet, and it makes a warm and cozy morning brew that won't make you too wired.
