I was excited to try this but I have found several of the flavors and types of tea have a similar taste. Something that overpowers the actual tea itself.
I honestly thought maybe I had accidentally brewed this wrong (I have a Zojirushi that was set to 195ºF yesterday and not sure if it was 175ºF by the time I brewed my first cup), but after several steepings throughout the day ((5, yes, five, of the first scoop, and 2 of the second) I have to say I didn't ruin it with too hot of water. For the 5 cups I made with the first scoop is was finally palatable without sugar, but before that it was extremely bitter (usually the sign of making green tea too hot fo rtoo long). I even tried brewing for 3 minutes instead of 4 and the 2nd and 3rd cup were still too bitter. It tasted like drinking lawn clippings soaked in rose water. I've had and enjoy jasmine teas and rose teas before but this was just too overwhelming. Why didn't I give it 1 star? Because with sugar it was less bitter and during my 1st and 2nd steeping of the 2nd batch of leaves it was a little better more jasminey, less grassy (or maybe I'm getting used to the bitterness). It smells absolutely heavenly but the taste is disappointing to say the least. I'm doing 31 days of August Uncommon tea for the month and while I'll be writing reviews for all of them, I had to write this one up immediately.

Delightful Jasmine with dessert almond finish. Yum.
Love this tea, because it’s not bitter and the taste is nothing like I’ve tasted before. Very smooth and you can reuse your tea leaves a second time, I was surprised about that. It tasted as good after brewing the leaves a second time, very impressed.
