This is our first ever lemon tea blend.
Lemon goes with tea like jam with toast. It's a classic combination. While lemon is prevalent in tea blends, I often find its flavor too tart, sour or bitter. In searching for my platonic lemon, I wanted a flavor to mimic the Meyer lemons that grow in my garden. Superbloom is lively, almost effervescent tea blend that balances sweet-tart lemon with floral green oolong.
There is a surreal, dreamy quality about the wildflower scent of Superbloom. This is created by the addition of lemon verbena and orange blossom. You may be surprised to find there's no lemon in Superbloom. This is because dried lemon can cause bitterness, so I didn't use it.
My first sip of Superbloom was pure joy. It took me back to an early childhood memory of irresistible iced lemon cookies on a hot summer afternoon. I'm delighted by the light, creamy notes that transform this aromatic blend into a lemony custard. On ice, Superbloom comes alive in a truly refreshing, naturally sweet iced tea.
It's sure to win hearts at any summer party. This tea is an absolute must for citrus lovers, especially the lemon fans.
I hope you enjoy Superbloom.
Warmly,
