If you're not using a scale to measure your tea, this is a great start. This BPA-free clear plastic scoop measures 1 tablespoon of tea. Remember, tablespoons measure by volume and not by weight. This will get you close to our recommended 3.5 grams of tea per cup for standard black teas.

Stephanie lost her spoon

This all started with my dear Stephanie, my angel, the love of my life, who somehow did a very non-angelic thing and blasphemously LOST her scoop. Being as neurodivergent as she is, she claimed she was literally unable to make herself tea without this scoop because of course this is the perfect scoop and some people are weird like her and she can only use this scoop. So i bought her six of them (I kept two for myself and only gave her four) and she said it was the best birthday gift she had ever received. I wish I was joking about all of this; alas, I am not. Thank you August Uncommon Tea for helping my sweet little weirdo to be able to drink her delicious tea once again.

Love it

So nice to have this simple tool to measure out the loose leaf tea - no guessing about how much is a tablespoon and no looking for the baking tools. I keep it with my stash of teas so I can find it readily whenever I want to brew a cup.
