I enjoy black teas as a matter of course, This one has an excellent smooth flavor that I could spend a day just drinking. It also tastes great iced!
I tend to prefer black tea with milk but I didn't need to put anything into this. While I normally prefer a maltier black tea this one is extremely balanced, with minimal acidity and just enough sweetness to not need any milk or sugar.
I found it to be a wonderfully subtle black tea with hints of caramel that make it a great autumn tea. I don’t usually drink my tea with milk, but I can see making a latte out of this. However, you drink it, a lovely cup of tea.
This one brewed up strong as a good black tea should but wasn't too heavy in taste. The taste was smooth and rich but with a tartness in the aftertaste. It had a lovely aroma.
I tried this tea black, and it was deliciously smooth and not astringent at all - definitely a great option for someone who wants to try black tea for the first time. My only comment would be that the flavor is a little one-note - it’s not a smoky or flavored tea if you’re looking for either of those types.
