Enter a summer orchard where the scent of juicy ripening fruit waves gently in the air. This is a naturally sweet, fruity floral tea bursting with pink lady apple and Anjou pear, and orange peel. Each sip has a silky, smooth texture and lingering aroma of ripe fruit and grand mariner orange liqueur. This is a fruity blend of green rooibos and honeybush, dried apple, bergamot peel and bergamot orange essence. Each sip has a lingering sweet-tart finish. Its aroma is a delightful bouquet of orange blossom, linden and quince. A touch of honey enhances its sweetness. It is bright and soothing hot. Over ice it makes a summery mocktail. As someone who loves Earl Grey, I don't think The Orchard is a substitute for it. Although it contains bergamot, this is a fruity, caffeine-free herbal tea with a completely different personality. If you're craving that brisk black tea and classic Earl Grey flavor, this won't scratch that itch.
That said, I really enjoyed it for what it is. This is a tea for every season. Over ice with a touch of honey, it's bright, refreshing, and absolutely made me think of sitting on my porch on a warm summer afternoon; which I did and well into the evening with plenty of top offs. Served hot, it gave me a completely different feeling. I could picture myself wrapped in a blanket on a snowy holiday, curled up with a good book.
I think this tea really shines when you let it be itself instead of comparing it to Earl Grey. It's naturally sweet, fruity, and comforting. I can also see it being delicious with a cinnamon stick and just a touch of honey for an extra cozy cup that you can enjoy right up until bedtime.

This tea is delightfully light & delicate without sacrificing any flavor. It's fun to have an apple tea that isn't "in your face" with the apple or automatically paired with cinnamon. This was amazing hot & I can't wait to try it iced with a touch of honey. Glad that I can add this to my evening caffeine-free rotation!

I like this tea. It’s got a nice cozy apple taste and smell that will be lovely in the fall. I also love that it’s herbal so I can drink it at night. My qualm is that I really didn’t get any bergamot flavor or scent. I was really excited to try a funky new apple riff on an Earl Grey, but this didn’t do that for me. Love the apple, love the decaf, wish I got more bergamot.

I brewed it got and also made an iced version. The taste was very mild.

This tea takes me back to visiting Apple orchards in Virginia in the fall so powerfully that I can feel the leaves crunching under my feet. The bergamot is a really nice addition, as are the other spices. It’s sweet and warm.
