The Music Behind the Tea: Psychocandy

Over the years, the name of our best-selling pumpkin caramel rooibos tea has perplexed, delighted, and even angered some. It’s named for the debut album of one of our favorite bands, The Jesus and Mary Chain. JAMC was a 1980s Scottish post-punk band. Their music is a dreamy take on 1950s American rock with a little gritty guitar reverb.

We hope you enjoy listening to the music that inspired this tea. Hopefully, you'll see how this iconoclastic sound fits into the August world.
