This multi-faceted black tea combines layers of smoke, sweet grilled banana, and sharply fragrant black truffle. The aroma alone overtakes your senses, while the taste draws you deeper into its kaleidoscopic trance. Milk enhances the caramel banana sweetness. I love most of the August teas, and especially the smoky ones like Golden Arrow, Mojave and Low Country. I was hoping this one would be strikingly different, but the banana flavoring is very subtle and the truffle overtakes it. Not one of my favorites.

Had a really good banana flavor and it’s you add a little bit of cream to it just makes it velvety almost like a banana cream pie
Perfect when I want something slightly sweet but not overbearing. My fave.
the sweet notes of caramel and banana mesh well with the savory-ish, deeper flavors of the smokiness and notes of coffee. well-balanced, not too rich, but not something i would reach for regularly--more like a rare treat to enjoy on occasion. the initial smell did throw me off but i'm counting that as a point in its favor because i enjoy interesting teas
