The intoxicating scent of this tea conjures velvety cake on an afternoon in the countryside. Soft, sugar-laden butter glides across the tongue to meet tiny aromatic vanilla seeds apparent in the bottom of the cup. Intense vanilla is balanced by the earthy depth of cardamom and green tea. This tea is a modern take on Proust's tea-soaked Madeleine.

Quality Standards
August tea is produced in an IFS certified facility and meets stringent EU quality standards. It has been tested for pesticides, heavy metals, and other contaminants so you don't have to worry.

Each August tea bag makes a robust, flavorful cup of tea. The average tea bag has only 2 grams of tea per bag. Ours have 3.5 grams of tea. That's 60% more tea in every bag. More tea = more flavor.
Our tea uses super premium whole ingredients including whole leaf tea, dried fruit and herbs, and whole spices. Our tea comes from traditional tea estates in the best growing regions on earth. It’s quality you can see, smell, and taste.
Our tea bags are made of plant-based, non-gmo neosoilon mesh, so you don't have to worry about microplastics, bleach, or other harmful substances in your tea.
Hot brewing
Infuse 1 tea bag in 10 ounces of boiling water (175°f/80°c) for 5 minutes.
Iced brewing
Infuse 1 tea bag in 3 ounces of boiling water (175°f/80°c) for 5 minutes. Dilute with 7 ounces of cold water. Serve over ice.
Infuse it again!
Each tea bag can be reinfused for a milder second cup.

I’ve not been a fan of green tea, but I love this. Smooth taste and lovely aroma.
This tea is so cozy and earthy; it’s a great afternoon pick-me-up. I was so bummed that I can’t have black tea anymore, due to health reasons, but I’m so glad that I’ve found a great alternative.
I tried Combray on a whim with some relatively high expectations. For those expecting the pound cake and vanilla notes to shine, you may be a bit disappointed. This tea ended up being more earthy and spice-y than dessert-y.
