The iris has been the favorite flower of royalty and artists for centuries. The accord of lime blossom and creamy vanilla in this tea evokes the scent of iris. At first, the bright acidity of peach and lime dominate. The next sip deepens with the velvetiness of roasted oolong with peach and rose notes. Adding milk introduces pistachio and white chocolate flavors. Chilling this tea deepens its earthiness to bring out roasted peach and rose notes. 🔥 Brewing Directions

Hot Brewing 10 oz

Heat 195°f/90°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 2 teaspoons
Pour 10oz/300ml hot water
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Repeat Reinfuse 1-2 times

Iced Brewing 10 oz

Heat 195°f/90°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 2 teaspoons
Pour ~3oz hot water to barely cover tea leaves
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Dilute with 7oz cold water
Serve Over ice

Like many oolong teas, I think the flavor of this one really comes out when it is drink cold or iced.

Perfect Spring Tea

Dark Iris is one of my favorite teas to drink when the weather gets warmer. It has a light fruity taste but still gives me the caffeine kick I like to start my day. It is delicious plain or with a splash of whole milk.
