Silencio - Spicy Pineapple Black Tea

Tastes Like: ripe pineapple, black pepper, cocoa bean
Feels Like: a cuban bolero
The climate of the Cuban coast is gripping. The scent of sweet tropical flowers hangs heavy in the air. This tea envelops you with cocoa-scented orchid and a hint of warm tobacco. As you sip, the earthy aroma yields to juicy, sun-ripened pineapple. It finishes on a deep peppery note. A touch of milk mellows its spiciness and brings out the floral sweetness of pineapple. This is a place where everything conspires to make time pass in slowness, enchanted with nostalgia.

Pretty good. Wish the pineapple was a little more forward in the profile, but other than that, very good.
- TRTeresa R.Verified BuyerRated 5 out of 5 stars8 hours agoTropical and delicious
We drink this tea over ice here in the south and it is stellar! Fresh and just enough caffeine to give you the boost you are looking for, while quenching thirst in this miserable heat. Love it

This tea is delicious. The taste of spicy pineapple is great for a sore throat and I see it being awesome on the cold night this winter to remind me of summer.

I ordered the tea along with another (which took over as my in the moment favorite), so I forgot this one. Was pleasantly surprised when I finally tried it, had a great blend of flavors and the spice hits nicely. Sweet and fruity without feeling overwhelming. Recommend brewing it strong so the pineapple comes more forward.

I get trying to blend a black tea with different things, and it was not a bad idea to try, but for my wife and I, it was not a good flavor. We followed the instructions but the taste was very bitter and left a dry feeling on the tongue. We tried this as a milk tea or tea latte but it just was not salvageable. Sorry, but only one star for this one.
