This citrus green tea is a seduction of the senses. In the first sip, you encounter sweet woodsy spice, then creamy orange and vanilla. It ends with orange peel and hay notes. Imagine wandering the ancient city of Tangier the birthplace of tangerines, bolder cousin of the orange. This tea is inspired by the Moroccan medina, a sensual wonderland where spices, incense, and tangerines dance in the air. It is superb on ice. Add a scoop of ice cream for a dreamy creamsicle experience.

🔥 Brewing Directions

Hot Brewing 10 oz

Heat 175°f/80°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 1 tablespoon
Pour 10oz/300ml hot water
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Repeat Reinfuse 1-2 times

Iced Brewing 10 oz

Heat 175°f/80°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 1 tablespoon
Pour ~3oz hot water to barely cover tea leaves
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Dilute with 7oz cold water
Serve Over ice

Pro tip: If you want more concentrated flavor, try doubling the tea leaves in this recipe.

Arabesque Upgrade

So for the 5th and the 14th of August I apparently had the same tea except under a different name. Funny enough they got the same flavor wheel ratings, but I rated Tangerine Dream slightly higher than Arabesque, maybe because it was fresher. Either way delicious creamy and citrusy. Like a dreamsicle tea.

One of my favorites!

This is one of my favorite August Teas! The orange and vanilla combination is so fresh and reminiscent of a dreamsicle while the green tea provides just the afternoon boost I need. This tea needs little sweetner as it is pretty sweet on its own. It has just the right amount of sweetness while still giving you a smooth mouth feel and clean taste from the green tea!
