I LOVE violet tea (and violet perfume, violet everything!) and I love “perfumey” teas that are done well, and this one is amazing! The scent straight from the bag is heavenly and once the hot water hits it, it becomes VERY fragrant, basically filling my kitchen with the beautiful scent of violet and purple berries. It is a blend of black teas so don’t let the lapsang souchong scare you if you’re not a fan, it’s just a tiny hint of smokiness that balances this tea out wonderfully.
If you don’t like scented tea or anything perfume-like, this won’t be for you but if you enjoy beautifully fragrant and wonderful tasting teas that go beyond basic black, this is a must try!

I love a properly balanced fruity tea: this one is delightful from the moment you open the tin and scoop some out to brew. Nice with milk too - though it's already too sweet (for me) to drink with even mildly sweetened kinds of nut milk or soy milk.
