🔥 Brewing Directions

Hot Brewing 10 oz

Heat 212°f/100°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 1 tablespoon
Pour 10oz/300ml hot water
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Repeat Reinfuse 1-2 times

Iced Brewing 10 oz

Heat 212°f/100°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 1 tablespoon
Pour ~3oz hot water to barely cover tea leaves
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Dilute with 7oz cold water
Serve Over ice

Outlaw Replacement

I ordered this tea when I heard that Outlaw had been discontinued. Wanted a smoky and sweet replacement for my favorite tea. While steeping it made the room smell sickly artificial vanilla sweet. Once it cooled down I was surprised that it just tasted like hot water! No smoke smell or taste at all. I love my other August teas, but this just makes me miss Outlaw more. All that smell for nothing...

Subtle

The flavors in this tea are extremely subtle for me- which I appreciated on the smokiness level, but was disappointed on the toffee factor. Overall it smells amazing and tastes good.

The Best

I've been indulging in August Teas for 3+ years. I think I've sampled all of them, and my favorites are Passage and Psychocandy. Until now. Golden Arrow now surpasses Passage IMO. Love it. And I get all three of these in the 70 cup bag. 👍 My splurge — always worth it.
