I liked the malt in this much more than the bourbon brown sugar.
Our “go to” for a good, strong, black tea has been Golden Arrow for the last year, so not because we had not tried The Library yet. This tea is flavorful, deep, rich and very satisfying to sip. Definitely earned a place in our rotation.
Invokes a feeling, a distant memory perhaps, of a long and lazy stroll through the historic sections of Oxford or London in mid November. The sort of thing that encourages us to take it all in slowy...sip by sip, step by step. I get a hint of smoke with the malt, but it balances quite perfectly. I prefer a stronger brew, and, that said, it is still a smooth and pleasant experience. Lightly sweetened, a splash of cream, over ice (or not), this blend will definitely take you on a journey.
I stumbled upon this tea vendor online by chance and ordered a bunch of samples about a month ago. At first I hated the tea and realized I was using too much. Also, this is a tea that grew on me the more I drank it. Of the seven tea samples I originally ordered, this was one of two standouts, though there are others I will buy again.
I love malt and I think that's the key component that's really working for me in this tea. I feel like the flavors are very well balanced and smooth and the description on the tea, really created a nice story to go with the tea. You have great tea and maybe even greater marketing. This is a lovely malty black tea that appeals more over time. It's uncommonly delicious tea.
