1st off I REALLY appreciate this tea being all organic with natural flavoring (one of the few I think.) This really made me appreciate Assam tea. Stout, astringent, slightly bitter but not in an unpleasant way-just as I understand how it's supposed to be. The scent and taste of almond come through just enough and I do get a slight taste of cacao but not the caraway, but my palette on teas is just developing. I tasted no buttered toast except when I added a touch of 1/2n1/2, but I much prefer this tea "straight" except I do add a very good liquid stevia (tastes most like sugar) to all the flavored teas to bring out everything, else I can't taste but the tea only. I think it was for a good strong AM brew (I use lots of leaves!)

caffeine balance

Like cozying up in a quiet room, in a big chair, with a good book. I make mine unsweetened with a splash of cream. Just the right amount of caffeine.

Rich and flavorful

The Library is a complex and fulfilling blend. Assam black tea is the rich base for this flavorful combination. Neither the caraway nor the cacao shell has the flavor you'd expect, but the combination is warm and toasty. Almond floats on top of this, smooth and nutty. A nice cup for sitting comfortably and relaxing. Highly recommended.
