This was my husband's favorite of the teas I bought, and I like it too. It's got an unusual and complex flavor profile and it takes a minute to take it all in, but after the first sip or two, I think the cocoa is the predominant flavor, with a nice earthiness and a hint of anise at the end. We will be buying more of this one.
I'm just now getting into unique/luxury teas, but I love Cult of Demeter so much. It's warm and nutty and tastes just like the amber hues of golden hour. Between this and my typical peppermint tea, my evenings are perfectly comfy. I don't even add milk. Get this if you need something cozy and soft to enjoy!
Cult of Demeter is an unusual blend, smooth and lively at the same time. The barley is a toasty base that the other flavors play on. The anise is not too strong and adds a sweetness. The cocoa is more subtle, but works well with the anise. All in all, a delightful tea!
