Nutty roasted barley and malt are enriched by the subtle aroma of sweet aniseed and roasted cacao. A splash of your favorite milk turns up its natural sweetness.

I’m a very picky tea drinker and have been drinking tea forever. I think I’ve tried just about everyone’s tea out there and really like August Uncommon this particular tea “Cult of Demeter” is amazingly good, very different in a taste department. The Anise is not overwhelming just a hint of it. You can taste every flavor that’s in these leaves all of them blended to perfection. Very smooth, satisfying and tasty. I’ve just ordered it again. I absolutely love it!

If you love anise then this is for you but unfortunately for me it was just a little too strong. I was hoping for a little bit more chocolate flavor and the anise to be a complement not overpowering. Oh well, they can't all be winners. I do generally enjoy herbal blends from August, though.
