Tastes Like: burnt sugar, buckwheat, chicory, bourbon Feels Like: the forward familiarity of the south
This tea has the ostentatious warmth of a Southern drawl. It's got robust body and character to match. In the first sip, the chewiness of burnt sugar mingles with the dark, rich flavor of buttery buckwheat hotcakes and finally, a latent chicory note. A drop of milk adds a whisper of bourbon. This is a fantastic morning tea to rival an English breakfast. Its potent charm ambles all the livelong day. Recommended for coffee lovers and whisky drinkers.
Low Country is a fine addition to my tea shelf! It has a rich tea flavor with a hint of smoky sweetness. Delicious both hot and iced. Makes me feel a bit regal!
Totally love this tea! Smooth and full bodied flavor with a light burnt sugar taste that reminds me of crème brulée. Feel like I should be sitting on the patio with my feet up! You'll love it!
Low Country used to be one of my favorites. This recent batch has a very fake sugar smell to it now that permeates even after you make it. The ingredient list has definitely changed. After I use it up, I won't be buying any more.

August Uncommon Tea
Thank you for your honest review, Lauren V. We're sorry to hear about this experience with Low Country. The formula for this tea has not changed. We have sent you an email with more information.
Smoky notes hit later, I enjoy black, with a little honey (RARE for me), and/or with a little half & half. I hardly ever like tea all these ways but it's so good.
I'm an Earl Grey girl, and normally I drink the Metropolitan. On a whim I tried Low Country and fell in love with it. It feels so warm and comfy, especially on chilly days. It's not overpowering, the flavor tastes and smells delightful.
