The iris has been the favorite flower of royalty and artists for centuries. The accord of lime blossom and creamy vanilla in this tea evokes the scent of iris. At first, the bright acidity of peach and lime dominate. The next sip deepens with the velvetiness of roasted oolong with peach and rose notes. Adding milk introduces pistachio and white chocolate flavors. Chilling this tea deepens its earthiness to bring out roasted peach and rose notes. An experience as mysterious and elegant as the intoxicating spring flower.

🔥 Brewing Directions

Hot Brewing 10 oz

Heat 195°f/90°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 2 teaspoons
Pour 10oz/300ml hot water
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Repeat Reinfuse 1-2 times

Iced Brewing 10 oz

Heat 195°f/90°c water
Add 3.5g tea, about 2 teaspoons
Pour ~3oz hot water to barely cover tea leaves
Infuse 4-5 mins. Longer is stronger.
Dilute with 7oz cold water
Serve Over ice

Bought a sample of this and it is so yummy

This tea and all the teas I ordered are so good. I am usually a black tea only girl but this might just change that. I love the flavors and they are so 3 dimensional. I love the scent and taste. Def buying more.

Mmmmmmm! Yay for another winner!

I am a sucker for a good oolong and Dark Iris does not disappoint. August Teas are wonderful high quality teas. This oolong is not overpowering with the flavors. I found it to be light and smooth with just enough substance (is that a thing with tea?) to make me feel like I was getting a real treat. The color and aroma are lovely and relaxing.
