Tea-infused tequila, tea concentrate and sour mix recipe make enough for 2 drinks.
Allow 30 minutes for tequila infusion and tea concentrate.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons (11 grams) Tangerine Dream tea (2 tbsp for concentrate, 1 tbsp for tequila)
- 10 oz water
- 5 oz silver tequila*
- 8 oz sour mix
- 7 oz simple syrup
- orange slice for garnish
Preparation
- Infuse 2 tablespoons of Tangerine Dream tea with 10 oz 176º water for 5 minutes. Strain and cool to room temperature.
- Infuse 1 tablespoon Tangerine Dream tea in 5 oz of tequila for 30 minutes
- Strain tequila into a glass.
- If making 2 drinks, double the amount of all ingredients
- Combine 2 oz infused tequila, 2 oz tea concentrate, 3 oz of simple syrup, and 2 oz of sour mix in a shaker
- Shake until cold and frothy
- Salt the rim of two rocks glass. Pour the drinks over ice
- Garnish with an orange slice
*Makes 4 ounces of Tangerine Dream-Infused tequila.
